Homelessness is a complex, deeply human issue. Many individuals experiencing homelessness have faced trauma, poverty, mental health challenges, addiction, family breakdown, and years of instability. Vision Possible exists to intervene with love, support, and actionable resources that help individuals move from crisis to independence. Our approach is holistic, faith-centered, and grounded in real-life experience within one of the most challenging communities in Los Angeles.

Our Vision

Our vision is to witness the transformation of individuals’ lives and their meaningful contributions to the community—ultimately ending the cycle of homelessness. We believe that when people are given structure, support, and an environment that fosters growth, their potential becomes limitless. This vision guides every program we create, every service we offer, and every partnership we pursue.

Our Mission

Our mission is to assist individuals and families who are homeless or economically disadvantaged by equipping them with the tools needed to support themselves and live independent lives. Through job training, employment assistance, spiritual support, and safe transitional housing, we provide a foundation where people can heal, learn, and rebuild.

We believe that every person deserves housing where they can live safely while taking steps toward stability. Just as importantly, we encourage individuals to understand their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs so they can overcome life’s challenges with resilience and purpose. Our mission is rooted in respect—recognizing that each client has inherent worth and a right to a future filled with possibility.

Our Core Principles

Vision Possible is built upon principles shaped by firsthand experiences with homelessness, suffering, and transformation. “God’s Vision—Vision Possible” is more than a name; it is a calling to create real change through compassionate action. Our principles include:

Heart

Creating a nurturing community that offers safety, structure, and genuine care.

Heart

Providing affordable transitional housing where individuals can stabilize and begin rebuilding.

Heart

Delivering comprehensive job training programs that empower participants to earn income and pursue productive careers.

Heart

Fostering dignity and independence through guidance, education, and spiritual support.

Heart

Recognizing every person’s inherent worth, believing that all individuals have God-given potential.

Heart

Offering hope without judgment, meeting people where they are, and supporting them unconditionally.

Our inspiration is closely tied to the long-standing work of the Jesus Knows My Name Ministry, which has served as a powerful beacon of hope on Skid Row for more than a decade. Located at 801 E 6th Street in Los Angeles, their dedication has influenced our mission and deepened our resolve to transform lives with faith and compassion.
